Charmlimos is a family run business. The owner and manager Mariella Prudente has been in the tourism industry together with her family since the first lights of qualitative tourism in the Sorrentinian Peninsula.

Mariella speaks of her family memories:

Hospitality and tourism are in my memories as early as I can go back, and as I was growing up I came to understand why. My great-grandfather was one of the first executive drivers and coachmen in Sorrento, a forerunner of the latest DriverGuide! It still moves me to see him acting as 'himself' in the famous movie "Bread, Love and ...." - shot in Sorrento and directed by Dino Risi - where he took around clients like the mesmerizing Sophia Loren and the charming Vittorio De Sica.

My grandfather then set up his own driver company which passed from one generation to another, to my father, who is still recognized in the field today as one of the pioneers of tourism in Sorrento.

As a family we still carry in our hearts that understanding of tourism and the pleasure of discovering our unique country, in particular the astonishing Amalfi Coast with its tortuous coastal roads, the breath-taking views and the secret creeks overlooking the Med… It is something we pride ourselves in doing, which is why we take so much care in the little details, in what makes an experience unforgettable. Relax and Comfort are our two keywords, so that we never work… because taking you is always a pleasure!
